Our SC-48 Water Softener & Whole House Filtration System can still soften water with extreme water hardness. Its water softener can process 48,000 grains (48K) of dissolved hardening chemicals from your water. It comes with the industry-standard 5-micron sediment pre-filter for trapping iron oxidation, dirt, and other particles. For purifying water, it utilizes a carbon filter media that processes chlorine. The carbon filter is catalectic carbon, and KDF media is used to remove those harmful contaminates. The water filtration system uses a 10% resin media, which is the best-in-class and comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty and 1,000,000-gallon capacity rating.
